"I make these posts in memory of my mother - to let her know I'm staying out of trouble"

This past 12 days I was privileged to be among 58 of the worlds best plein air artists who assembled to paint the rich landscape
and daily life in and around Easton Maryland.While there I learned something of the history of communities like Saint Michaels, Tylmann Island and Oxford. 
I saw how important the waterman were to the identity and the and the success of these communities
and got to know many of them as friends. I will certainly return if the stars align next year.
